IBC 2026: Tiledmedia Launches Tiledmedia Fabric to Simplify Production and Distribution of Advanced Content Experiences
Highlights:
- New Tiledmedia Fabric video processing platform tightly integrates live video mixing, graphics overlays, and ad insertion into fully produced, ready-to-distribute streams
- Data-driven platform replaces traditionally disparate production, graphics and transcoding systems
- Produces streams for lean-back watching as well as highly engaging lean-forward experiences
- Tiledmedia Fabric is in full operation with several blue-chip global service providers; the solution will be demonstrated to the industry for the first time at IBC 2026
Rotterdam, Netherlands – September 9, 2026 – IBC 2026 stand 5.G88 – Tiledmedia, provider of advanced video streaming technology, today announces the launch of Tiledmedia Fabric, a groundbreaking new platform that greatly simplifies production and distribution of advanced content experiences for providers of streaming content.
Tiledmedia Fabric is a video processing platform that weaves raw video feeds, video ads, graphics and data into fully produced, ready-to-consume live streams. By replacing production, graphics, and transcoding with one integrated media processing pipeline, Tiledmedia Fabric makes production and delivery of highly advanced streaming experiences significantly faster, more cost-efficient, and error-free.
“Tiledmedia Fabric enables streamers and other service providers to simplify their content distribution; our platform is easy to deploy and reduces the need for manual operation,” explains Rob Koenen, Chief Business Officer at Tiledmedia.
Wide array of experiences delivered by a single, data-driven pipeline
All functionalities can be configured to respond to incoming data. The platform merges and mixes multiple video feeds in response to certain events, for example, in sports matches. It inserts dynamic graphics, and is able to quickly show ads when a game or race has a dead moment. All these elements are tightly integrated with transcoding and packaging, resulting in a highly efficient, easy-to-deploy solution.
Using tools on the market today to deliver the same functionality would mean bolting together a production gallery, a graphics system and an encoding/packaging chain, each adding cost, delay, and potential interoperability problems. It would be complex and difficult to optimise. Also, it would be nearly impossible to drive such a pipeline with data.
“Tiledmedia Fabric replaces that chain with one integrated, cost-efficient pipeline that is simple to configure, manage, and operate. The fact that it’s one integrated pipeline also makes it simple to use data and event feeds to configure and drive the platform on the fly,” explains Koenen.
Tiledmedia Fabric is fully automated, and everything on the screen can respond to real-time data. For example, if data signals a dead moment in the game or race, Tiledmedia Fabric can dynamically insert a side-by-side ad, with attractive animation, ensuring that ads appear at the correct moment, maximising monetisation options.
Enabling viewers to choose how they watch
But Tiledmedia Fabric is not only geared for lean-back experiences. “Broadly speaking, there are two ways to enjoy content,” Koenen says. “Content can be watched in passive and active, dynamic ways, per the user’s preference.” Some viewers want to relax and enjoy what they’re watching, sports for example, and are satisfied with how the content is produced for them.
To meet the needs of the active viewers, Tiledmedia Fabric can process many video, audio and data feeds, line them up, and encode and package them as individual streams for distribution. In this mode, the viewer chooses what they want to see and how they interact with the content. For instance, they can choose camera feeds in a multiview, follow their favourite competitor, or interact with advanced data-driven graphic overlays.
Content owners can cater to both viewing modes freely in the same Tiledmedia Fabric deployment. The same raw feeds can deliver a produced main channel with burned-in graphics for the lean-back audience, alongside a fully interactive experience for superfans.
Koenen says Tiledmedia Fabric has been deployed with a number of high-profile international streaming service providers, and has already proved its value to those content owners and distributors.
“Tiledmedia Fabric is a battle-tested solution that’s helping several high-profile content owners to deliver sophisticated streaming services today, yielding operational efficiencies and high-quality services. We’re now delighted to launch Tiledmedia Fabric to the wider industry,” Koenen said.
In addition to direct availability from Tiledmedia, Tiledmedia Fabric can also be purchased on Amazon Marketplace.
