07 Feb – Tiledmedia Turning Three Today With a Perfect Cake
Exactly three years ago, we sat in the office of a Notary Public in Amsterdam to sign the paperwork that established the Tiledmedia Besloten Vennootschap. After the short ceremony we returned to our regular workplace: the DE coffee shop next to Rotterdam Central Station.
Fast forward 3 years, and we’re a 14-strong company, won 3 awards, streamed Champions League matches and the FA Cup Final, streamed 5 days of IBC ’19 in 8K … Most importantly, we’re signing up new customers, again looking to double our revenue this year.
This called for a little celebration, and Sophia baked the perfect cake for the occasion!
We’re still working hard on making Tiledmedia a success, and we’re certainly not there yet. But we are proud of where we are today, working with industry visionaries like Sky UK, BT, Intel, Iconic Engine, Akamai and a host of others that have joined us on our journey.
The VR market is difficult to navigate, many start-ups fell prey to hyper-inflated expectations, but the ecosystem is clawing its way out of the trough of disillusionment and the future looks bright.
